Is the eTower system waterproof?

The light system is waterproof, all internal electrical components are coated to comply with an IP65 rating. The system is also designed to withstand temperatures from 14 to + 104 °F (-10 to +40 °C) and elements such as rain, sand, and the occasional drink spill. The battery however is not waterproof. It is water-resistant, can be out in the rain but cannot be submerged.

How many Apollo S eTowers are recommended for my sport or activity?

Each sport has a different size playing surface and lighting requirement for different levels of play. Below is a list of recommended units corresponding to sport/activity.

  • Pickleball
    • Recreational/Residential: 2 eTowers
    • Class II Competitive: 3 eTowers
    • Class I Professional Competition & Broadcast: 4 eTowers
  • Volleyball
    • 1 eTower will provide 11 foot candles of coverage however there will be shadow imbalance.
    • 2 eTowers will provide 20 foot candles on a 30 x 60 ft. playing space good for most levels of play
    • 4 eTowers provide 40 foot candles on a 27 x 54 ft. playing space, good for the highest level of play.
  • Tennis
    • Class IV Recreational: 3 eTowers or 14 foot candles on a 36 x 78 ft. playing space
    • Class III Residential/High School: 4 eTowers or 23 foot candles on a 36 x 78 ft. playing space
    • Class II Club Competition & Commercial: 6 eTowers or 33 foot candles on a 36 x 78 ft. playing space
  • Basketball
    • 1  eTower for recreational half court practice at 7.5 Foot Candles
    • 2 eTowers for recreational full-court coverage of 96 ft x 50 ft at 9 Foot Candles
    • 3 eTowers for full-court coverage of 96 ft x 50 ft at 18 Foot Candles
    • 8 eTowers for High School/Collegiate full-court coverage of 96 ft x 50 ft at 30 Foot Candles
  • Recreation
    • Camping & Recreational Vehicle Lighting
      • 1 eTower will generally cover around 2500 square feet. This will be enough to meet the requirements to play most games, activities, entertainment, and bbq needs.
    • Spikeball, Cornhole, beer dye
      • 1 system will generally cover (2) playing courts for these games.

How does the eTower differ from other light towers on the market?

The eTower is customizable and modular, designed to fit into a small hard shell case and be raised by one person from 4 feet to 20 feet in less than 60 seconds. It features interchangeable components, including light heads, batteries, AC power, solar, and anchors.

What are the different anchoring options available for the eTower?

Your eTower can be anchored in 2 ways:

  • Post mount anchor: the eTower is strapped to an existing foundation pole such as a fence post, basketball goal, or grounded post. The anchor allows you to anchor to any size pole in seconds and securely.
  • Free-standing quadpod base: The eTower can be freely deployed on any 7’x7′ flat surface. The legs open and provide a robust base.

What is the lifespan of the eTower’s battery?

The battery life of the eTower varies depending on the specific configuration and usage. Lights can run from 2-10 hours depending on selected lumens output.

What is the warranty for Eversun’s products?

Of course! All our eTowers come with a 1-year limited warranty. Please see the terms below or visit eversun.io/terms-and-conditions

This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period.
During the Warranty Period, Eversun will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance for up to 1 year.
Eversun will either repair the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts.
The Warranty Period for Physical Goods purchased from Eversun is 365 days from the date of purchase.
Replacement parts or systems assume the remaining warranty of the original Physical Good or 365 days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer.
What does this limited warranty not cover? This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by: conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.
What do you have to do? To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you.
IN NO EVENT SHALL EVERSUN HAVE LIABILITY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THESE LIMITATIONS SHALL APPLY NOTWITHSTANDING ANY FAILURE OF ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF ANY LIMITED REMEDY.
Governing Law/Venue. This Agreement shall be governed by California law (without reference to conflict of laws principles), and venue for any dispute shall be San Diego County, California.
Miscellaneous. Notwithstanding the choice of forum/venue provision above, Eversun may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. You shall not assign this Agreement, directly or indirectly, by operation of law or otherwise, without the prior written consent of Eversun. You shall comply in all respects with all U.S., Swiss and foreign export and re-export laws and regulations applicable to the technology and documentation provided hereunder. This is the entire agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter hereof. No waiver or modification of this Agreement shall be valid unless in writing signed by each party. If any provision of this Agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.

Will Eversun offer support after the period warranty ends?

The batteries, LEDs, and other service parts will be available to source via special order beyond the 1 year warranty period.

Our Pro+ LED lamps have a 50,000-hour rating and our batteries are rated for 1000 cycles before degradation. With proper care, and maintenance they can last much longer.

How long does the battery last on the Eversun Portable Lighting System?

The Apollo S battery is a 785wH Lithium Ion battery that will run for 4 hours on High (40,000 lumens) and 10 hours on Low (13,000 Lumens). This can vary slightly depending on environmental temperatures, and other factors.

Your Eversun portable lighting system also comes with a waterproof 110V/220V AC adapter that can charge the battery and power the lighting system.

Can I run the portable light system while plugged into the charging cable?

Yes! Our proprietary battery management system charges your battery while providing the necessary operating voltage to the light system. Once the battery is fully charged, our battery management system bypasses the cell system and sends power directly to the light.

What are the benefits of using Eversun’s light towers over gas-powered alternatives?

Eversun’s light towers are powered by batteries, which eliminates the noise and emissions caused by gas-powered alternatives. Batteries are charged by included solar panels and/or standard AC wall outlet. Additionally, our products are energy efficient, which reduces energy costs, and are customizable to meet specific needs.

How do I maintain and service the light tower?
